CDO Technologies Wins Army RFID Contract

CDO Technologies Awarded contract to provide passive RFID solutions for U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) and other agencies

Dayton, OH - 10/1/2008 - CDO Technologies, Inc., a full-service systems integrator that provides innovative, technology-based business process improvement, IT, and managed business support solutions, today announced they were selected to deliver Passive Radio Frequency Identification (pRFID) Electronic Product Code hardware, software, and professional services to the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), U.S. Coast Guard and several other federal agencies, North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), Coalition Partners, and other Foreign Military Sales (FMS).

CDO Technologies, with partners GlobeRanger Corporation, Sirit Corporation, Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC), HCI Integrated Solutions, Inc., Bartec Corporation, Avery Dennison -Paxar, and XIO Strategies, has been awarded a contract with a potential value of $75.5 million, based upon delivery orders to be placed against it, from the Army Contracting Agency Information Technology, E-Commerce, and Commercial Contracting Center (ITEC4).

Under the terms of the contract, CDO can now be awarded task orders by the Army, Defense Logistics Agency, or any other agency within the Department of Defense or the U.S. Coast Guard to integrate pRFID infrastructure within their supply chain. CDO will be delivering GlobeRanger’s iMotion Edgeware, Sirit’s Infinity 510 stationery passive RFID reader, Bartec’s Motorola MC9090G-RFID handheld bar code and RFID reader, Avery Dennison World Ready Thermal Transfer RFID printer, Avery Dennison General Purpose RFID tags, and professional services from CTC, HCI Inc, and XIO.
