Sirit and Stollmann Cooperate on Near Field Communications Offering

Companies agree to combine NFC products across the United States and Germany

Hamburg/Germany - 4/22/2009 - Stollmann, a leading supplier of protocol software for communication, and Sirit Inc. (“Sirit”) (TSX: SI), a global provider of radio frequency identification (“RFID”) technology announced today that the two companies have signed an agreement to work together to bring a combined solution for Near Field Communication (“NFC”) products to the global market.

This solution makes available, from a single source, the combined offerings of the NFCStack+ and JSR257 from Stollmann and custom firmware designs, applications and NFC drivers and libraries from Sirit. In addition, both companies will provide engineering services for application development and software integration surrounding their solution.

Sirit and Stollmann, both members of the NFC Forum, have solutions ready to use for mobile handsets and PC-based applications. Furthermore, NFC modules with integrated stack software are available for easy integration. While offering a complete software suite, both partners are able to provide close support for customers in the USA and Germany.
