Accordingly, everyday devices including smartphones, PDAs, handhelds, point-of-sale terminals and laptop PCs can now be quickly transformed into low cost RFID readers and writers.

Sirit's Plug-N-Play RFID products enable virtually any device with an SDIO or USB slot to effortlessly become a multi-protocol, high frequency (13.56 MHz) RFID reader and writer. Plug-N-Play technology preserves existing hardware infrastructure investments and functionality, devices are instantly transformed into next-generation products such as contactless payment terminals, access control stations or ticket collection terminals.

Our implementation roadmap leads to innovative applications including mobile commerce, retail store affinity programs, product authentication, healthcare and ePassports. Utilizing patent-pending technology, the Sirit Plug-N-Play RFID product line supports a broad range of high frequency (13.56 MHz) transponders, tags, and smart labels including ISO 14443A/B, ISO 15693, ISO 18000-3, INSIDE PicoTagâ„¢, HID iClass®, Tagsys C320, FeliCaâ„¢, KSW TempSens® and KSW VarioSens® and supports a wide range of operating systems including Microsoft® Windows Mobile®/Pocket PC (2003 and up), or Microsoft Windows® (Windows 98 and above).

 

SDIO RFID Premium

SDIO Premium Jumpstarts your commercial RFID initiatives with dynamic change capability. The SDIO Premium enables the user to read and write to many different types of tags using the same reader. SDIO Premium empowers you to create applications where the tag data can be updated or reloaded through cell phone, Blue Tooth or other wireless protocols that may be embedded in the host. This positions developers to create limitless types of HF RFID applications such as event passes with dramatic time to market and cost advantages.
