IDentity MaX Pro Reader
IDentity MaX Pro is an integrated system providing an economical solution for Automatic Vehicle Identification and Access Control applications alike. It is protected against the elements by a weather resistant enclosure and is intended as a single read point in a pedestal, pole, wall or ceiling mounted configuration.

The IDentity MaX Pro reader is supported by four independent discrete TTL capable inputs, which may be used for vehicle detecting loops, light curtains or other detection schemes required by the installation. Additionally, the reader has four discrete 5V outputs which are current limited and electronically configurable for either push pull or external pull up resistors. These outputs can be used for gate vending control, vehicle stop-and-go light control or other purposes. Sirit has optional relay modules for applications that require output voltages greater than 5V.

IDentity MaX Pro Transponders
IDentity MaX transponders are small passive radio frequency identification (RFID) tags designed for Sirit’s Automatic Vehicle Identification systems. Each transponder contains a unique identification code and utilizes energy from the IDentity Max Pro reader for power, eliminating the requirement for a battery. Transponders are available in either a non-transferable windshield mount or a credit card form factor for side fire installations. Both form factors provide convenient access control by eliminating tedious lineups and delays associated with manual systems.

Sirit’s IDentity MaX transponders use RF backscatter modulation technology to respond to signals emitted by an IDentity MaX Pro reader by reflecting and modulating the reader’s RF signal. As a transponder approaches the read zone, the presence of an RF field “wakes” the transponder. Once activated, the transponder returns a pre-programmed code to the IDentity MaX Pro reader. The IDentity MaX Pro transponder’s wireless link uses comprehensive error detection methods to ensure a high accuracy rate even under the most adverse environmental conditions. Error detection and correction also ensures information is transferred accurately between the transponder and reader.

IDentity FleX Series

Sirit’s IDentity FleX reader uses radio frequency identification (RFID) technology to read Sirit IDentity FleX and Title 21 vehicle-mount transponders. Protected against the elements by a weather resistant NEMA enclosure, this self-contained versatile reader is capable of stand-alone operation or interfacing with industry standard controllers. The IDentity FleX reader’s unique ability to support up to four antennas/lanes provides an economical solution for most automatic vehicle access applications.

The IDentity FleX reader can handle up to four separate lane/antenna locations. Each of the four read points is supported by two independent discrete TTL capable inputs, which may be used for vehicle detecting loops, light curtains or other detection schemes required by the installation. Additionally, each read point has two discrete outputs which are jumper configurable for either +5 VDC or +12 VDC current limited outputs. These outputs can be used for gate vending control, vehicle stop-and-go light control or other purposes. For added flexibility, each of the four antennas may be remotely located up to 200 feet from the reader by the use of coax cable.  The IDentity FleX system communicates transponder activity to a variety of established host systems via RS-232, RS-485, or Wiegand protocols.

IDentity FleX Tags
The IDentity FleX transponder contains a factory programmed, unique 64-bit identification code. For flexibility, there are two form factors of this transponder - a small, interior mounted windshield tag and a ruggedized exterior mounted license plate tag. The IDentity FleX windshield transponder comes equipped with a standard user replaceable 4 year coin cell battery. Where longer life is required, an additional battery can be added. If security is of primary concern, the IDentity S-FleX transponder provides a unique tamper-resistant “Break–on-Removal” feature that deactivates the transponder once removed from the windshield.
