System Components

Reader
The reader is an intelligent, 4-port, multi-protocol UHF reader that excels in dense-reader environments, and is capable of gathering and filtering large streams of tag data consistent with high tag volumes and velocities. Highly configurable buffering and tag filtering modes eliminate redundant tag data which reduces LAN traffic and server overloading. Certified to the EPC global Class 1 Gen 2 UHF RFID protocol in dense-interrogator, the reader supports all Gen 2 commands, including write, lock, and kill.

Antennas
Customized near field antennas are designed to fit in standard jewelry displays. The antennas are developed to provide a very specific and controlled RF field, which covers the entire unit and eliminates RF blind spots and cross talk between displays. Standard dimensions typically allow for 4 antennas/case. Custom sizes can be developed to meet non standard dimensions.

Tags
Sirit's custom item-level tags are both small and robust enough to account for high-risk, high-value items. The RFID jewelry tags look like traditional jewelry hang tags but contain an embedded re-writable UHF Gen 2 transponder. With the security and flexibility of Gen 2 technology you can write, erase, rewrite, lock and kill each tag with the touch of a button for easy inventory upgrades.
