3.0 solution-oriented features:
The 3.0 firmware introduces the following “solution-oriented” features:

Stray Tag
Elimination
Technology

This feature
allows customers
to determine if
a tag is
actively
transitioning
the portal, or
if it is simply
close to the
portal and not
moving.
This solution is
completely
implemented in
the IN510
firmware.
This eliminates
the need for
expensive
hardware or
middleware
solutions.

Antenna Crossing
Event
- Allows
customers to
discretely
determine the
moment in time
when a tag
passes the
bore-sight line
of the antenna.
This allows
customers to
discriminate
between tags
that are very
close together.

Tag Phase
Reporting
- Exposes tag
phase data to
the customer.
This can be
used to
implement very
advanced
functions and
solve unique
problems.
- Automatic Throughput Optimization - Automatically adjusts reader settings to maximize read redundancy depending on how many tags are present.
