IDentity 5200 High-Performance AVI Reader

The ID5200 eliminates the traditional cost barriers to address large-scale opportunities in tolling, particularly Open Road Tolling (ORT), High Occupancy Tolling (HOT) and HOV to HOT conversions.

IDentity 5100 High-Performance AVI Reader
Supporting unique design innovations and advancements in RFID technology, the IDentity 5100 redefines the world of AVI readers, eliminating cost barriers to address large-scale opportunities such as the emerging Electronic Vehicle Registration (EVR), vehicle emissions validation and insurance compliance markets, in addition to other traditional AVI applications such as electronic tolling and parking control.

With its high-speed performance and extended read range, the IDentity 5100 was designed to withstand extreme weather conditions, temperatures, humidity and vibration, while providing optimal performance and is ideally suited for global transportation applications.

 

IDentity Windshield Mount Tags

The IDentity Windshield Mount Tags (available in transferrable and non-transferrable versions) is a high performance radio frequency (RF) transponder designed to be used in conjunction with Sirit’s IDentity 5000 series reader systems for automatic vehicle identification applications. Developed for vehicle identification solutions which require the tag to be mounted on a glass surface, such as a vehicle windshield, each transponder is capable of read/write functionality, contains a unique identification code, and is powered by utilizing energy from the reader, eliminating the requirement for a battery. The windshield transponder has a compact form factor so as not to hinder the driver’s view, while its unique components and construction provide removal security.

Sirit’s “Secure Reader” and “Secure Tag” technologies offer multiple levels of security and authentication options. These options provide both “break on remove” and physical authentication techniques for the transponder. In addition, Sirit provides “RF” security features that verify the authenticity of a transponder during communications with the reader and provide security of sensitive information that may be stored on the tag.

 

IDentity Headlamp Mount Tags

The IDentity Non-Transferrable Headlamp Mount Tag is a high performance radio frequency (RF) transponder designed to be used in conjunction with Sirit’s IDentity 5000 series reader systems for automatic vehicle identification applications. Developed for use directly on a motorcycle or vehicle headlamp, each transponder is capable of read/write functionality, contains a unique identification code, and is powered by utilizing energy from the reader, eliminating the requirement for a battery. The Headlamp transponder has a compact form factor and offers unique components and construction providing removal security.

IDentity External License Plate Transponder

The IDentity External License Plate Tag is a high performance radio frequency (RF) transponder designed to be used in conjunction with Sirit’s IDentity 5000 series reader systems for automatic vehicle identification applications. Each transponder is capable of read/write functionality, contains a unique identification code, and is powered by utilizing energy from the reader, eliminating the requirement for a battery. The External License Plate transponder provides a robust form factor designed to withstand harsh environmental exposure and for mounting on the license plate of the vehicle without obscuring the view of the license plate.
The IDentity series tag and reader solution is ideally suited for a number of global transportation applications including Electronic Vehicle Registration (EVR),
vehicle emissions testing, proof of insurance compliance and electronic tolling.

Each transponder is capable of read/write functionality, contains a unique identification code, and is powered by utilizing energy from the reader, eliminating the requirement for a battery. The card transponder has a compact form factor so as not to hinder the driver’s view, while offering the ability to transfer the tag between vehicles.

IDentity Title 21-Toll Management
The IDentity Title 21 (T21) series is Sirit’s flagship product line for high speed highway applications. It complies fully with the Title 21 standard for electronic toll collection developed by Caltrans (California Department of Transportation).

Sirit has the largest install base of Title 21 compliant AVI systems in the world with installations in California (Orange County toll roads, San Francisco bridges, State Route 91, and I-15), Denver (E-470 toll road), and Vancouver, Canada.

At the heart of Sirit’s AVI solution is the transponder or “tag”, a device that is placed on a motorist’s windshield to identify the vehicle. The tag communicates through Sirit’s antenna to a reader controller card which identifies the tag and transfers the information to the host management system.

The IDentity T21 transponder can be read by the reader with an accuracy level in excess of 99.6% at vehicle speeds exceeding 100 miles per hour.

IDentity Traffic Probe

Sirit’s IDentity Flex RFID reader is designed specifically for road segment monitoring across single or multiple lanes under all weather and traffic conditions.

Using the latest generation radio frequency identification (RFID) technology and an embedded base of Caltrans Title 21 compatible toll transponders, accurate vehicle identification is reported to the host system using Sirit’s traffic probe protocol. This robust protocol was uniquely developed by Sirit to rapidly and accurately convey the tag identification, location of read point, time of read, and channel to the host controller. The protocol also includes an impressive array of diagnostic and monitoring features for testing or upgrading functionality.
